Jose Mourinho to manage Manchester United in 2012

Soccer Extreme : According to the Daily Mail, Jose Mourinho will have to wait until 2012 until he can get his hands on his dream job of managing Manchester United.

The Special One is in high demand in the North West, with neighbours Manchester City reportedly offering a £10m-a-year deal in order to replace Roberto Mancini this summer.

A source told the paper: “Jose has learned that Ferguson has no intention of retiring in the foreseeable future.”

Mourinho, who currently has a strained relationship with with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, is desperate for a return to the Premier League. However, it remains to be seen whether or not the former Chelsea gaffer will be welcomed back sooner rather than later.
